Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Marxistas's João Pedro de Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Williamson in the 6th minute of play forced Marxistas's goalkeeper Vladimir Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro de Amorim took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Palmer. Philip Palmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 11 played minutes Henrique Lira rounded Sojourner Truth Pioneers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Marxistas's Vladimir Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Williamson in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo de Salles got free with Philip Palmer in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philip Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, João Pedro de Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Palmer. The goal made the score 3-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by João Pedro de Amorim from a close distance when the talented Philip Palmer managed to make a qualified save. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's players were relieved. Marxistas's Eulalio Haritzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Williamson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marxistas's Vladimir Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Williamson in the 54th minute of play. If Rod Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Pedro de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Marxistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Philip Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Siqueira in the 60th minute of play. Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Costa having to interfere. Francis Horton hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Haritzeder in the 71st minute of play. If Rod Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Maia in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Marxistas's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but Vladimir Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Vladimir Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marxistas.
