Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jim Mitchell made the kick off and thus started the match. Christopher Love came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wils FC's Edwin Koppen. But to his dismay, Edwin Koppen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Claus Van Dijck hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Michael Dalton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Van Achteren in the 12th minute of play. If Michael Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathew Gunter in the 18th minute of play. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfried Van Gertsuyden having to interfere. Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 34th minute Wils FC were awarded a corner. Lorenz Van Deijck went to the cornerflag to take it. Lorenz Van Deijck made a great header on Wils FC's corner, it was just that Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love managed to reach the ball for a save. After 41 played minutes Margaret Atwood Impact got a freekick which was hit by Paul Burgess. In the 44th minute Jim Mitchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Margaret Atwood Impact's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edwin Koppen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Etienne Van Achteren to make the kick off. Godfried Van Gertsuyden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hylton Brookes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfried Van Gertsuyden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 58th minute of the match. Wils FC's Godfried Van Gertsuyden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Wils FC from getting a goal against them. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Michael Dalton sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Wils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar De Putter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Dalton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden firmly grabbed it by the left post. Margaret Atwood Impact were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Wils FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Mitchell took the corner. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Dalton in the 70th minute. The supporters of Wils FC booed when Margaret Atwood Impact was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Searle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Lorenz Van Deijck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christopher Love showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jim Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfried Van Gertsuyden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christopher Love showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Koppen in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Margaret Atwood Impact getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Paul Burgess hit a great ball. Etienne Van Achteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Mitchell in the 87th minute. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Wils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Grootaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Paul Burgess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hylton Brookes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wils FC could leave the field as winners, despite Margaret Atwood Impact having more of the ball for most of the match.
