CD Belintxon Albacete's Silvestre Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Watson in the 32nd minute of play. Edgard Breckenfeld hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Belintxon Albacete's zone, Mathew Gunter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Vilalobos came out of the goal and Mathew Gunter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Mitchell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Silvestre Vilalobos as he didn't even see the shot coming. 63 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Breckenfeld came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Breckenfeld in the 64th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Michael Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CD Belintxon Albacete made a substitution. Aniol Marrero replaced Baraquiel Abellan. Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Torrente in the 76th minute of play. CD Belintxon Albacete's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blasi Gabas in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Torrente came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Margaret Atwood Impact got a corner. CD Belintxon Albacete's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Mitchell ran over to the corner to take the kick. The CD Belintxon Albacete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
