Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Artemio Filipo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathew Gunter in the 3rd minute of the match. Rene Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Dalton in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Mitchell came free, but Rene Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Mitchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rene Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Filipo in the 25th minute of play forced Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Jim Mitchell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Plate's Rene Chale did a great save. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Goyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Dalton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christopher Love showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Hitzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Teodosio Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margaret Atwood Impact the free kick. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Teodosio Tulio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Filipo in the 47th minute of play forced Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hylton Brookes in the 52nd minute of the match. Margaret Atwood Impact were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after River Plate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Mitchell took the corner. Chris Randall was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 56th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Tulio to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match, Jim Mitchell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Chale was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Mitchell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rene Chale. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. The audience was convinced that 冯岩默's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher Love was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathew Gunter got free with Rene Chale in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rene Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Dalton in the 73rd minute of play. Jim Mitchell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game 冯岩默 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 冯岩默's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Love read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Michael Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rene Chale made a huge save. Margaret Atwood Impact played a much better game than River Plate and deserved their victory. The River Plate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
