Allan Kullgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. COURO COME FC's Anísio Diniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gerardo Beila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Léo Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Staffelbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Manilan in the 7th minute of play. Léo Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Braulio Manilan sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Xabat. After 15 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando de Lima. Léo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Nando Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Julien Staffelbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Léo Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Braulio Manilan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Léo Sampaio. Braulio Manilan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Kullgren came free, but Gerardo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Xabat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Léo Sampaio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Fernando de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Fernando de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Romulo Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Abilio couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, COURO COME FC's Gerardo Beila threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Kullgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 87th minute of play. Manuel da Mata scored 2-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Beila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Braulio Manilan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Sampaio. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Sampaio should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
