The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emirhan Sultani in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Fetor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Emirhan Sultani sped through FÊNIX F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Fetor. Damian Fetor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Dankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Bogumil Dankowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Emirhan Sultani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COURO COME FC and the FÊNIX F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Emirhan Sultani. 41 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Sergipano came free, but José Maria Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Fetor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Dankowski in the 44th minute. Marcinho Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. COURO COME FC's Lauro Guerra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FÊNIX F.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogumil Dankowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute FÊNIX F.C. were awarded a corner. Mauro Luz went to the cornerflag to take it. Mauro Luz made a great header on FÊNIX F.C.'s corner, it was just that COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes managed to reach the ball for a save. When Jailson Correia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the COURO COME FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Correia couldn't finish the play. After 64 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Bouchard. After some careless play in the FÊNIX F.C. defense, Emirhan Sultani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Fetor. The FÊNIX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Fetor should have stopped the shot. Mauro Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Pontes having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Anísio Sergipano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Maria Pontes. That made the score 2-1 in the 79 minute of play. After 82 minutes, Mané Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FÊNIX F.C. and the COURO COME FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mané Nóbrega hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emirhan Sultani came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. COURO COME FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after FÊNIX F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lauro Guerra took the corner. The corner ended in Faustão Sarmento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, Bengt Bouchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Pontes. COURO COME FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Bouchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Kauã Moreno took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Pontes. José Maria Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Moreno came free, but José Maria Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FÊNIX F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
