Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Svante Clementsson started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Doctors of Ophtalmology's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Thompson came free, but Hannes Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Doctors of Ophtalmology got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Magnusson. Hannes Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bhavin Pandya in the 11th minute of the match. Hannes Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bhavin Pandya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, F. Nightingale Saviors's David Melling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Blomqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hannes Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Melling in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Houston in the 19th minute of play forced Doctors of Ophtalmology's goalkeeper Hannes Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Doctors of Ophtalmology's goal looked a bit too open when Bhavin Pandya came free, but Hannes Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F. Nightingale Saviors's David Houston got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Ralph Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F. Nightingale Saviors booed when Doctors of Ophtalmology was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Haeger didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 55th minute of the match F. Nightingale Saviors got a corner. Doctors of Ophtalmology's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bhavin Pandya ran over to the corner to take the kick. F. Nightingale Saviors's Stuart Knights was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hannes Blomqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Doctors of Ophtalmology's zone, Bhavin Pandya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Blomqvist came out of the goal and Bhavin Pandya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Bhavin Pandya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Blomqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Houston in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Sven Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Wooster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Ralph Thompson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F. Nightingale Saviors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Thompson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bhavin Pandya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led to F. Nightingale Saviors's John Houghton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Doctors of Ophtalmology's goal looked a bit too open when David Houston came free, but Hannes Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bhavin Pandya in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Doctors of Ophtalmology's goalkeeper Hannes Blomqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Houston. David Melling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Hannes Blomqvist made a huge save. In the 90th minute, David Melling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hannes Blomqvist. The goal made the score 0-1. Bhavin Pandya kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Svante Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, F. Nightingale Saviors's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Clementsson came free, but David Wooster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F. Nightingale Saviors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
