An unexpectedly hard shot by James Nicklin in the 5th minute of play forced Vizsla Academy Budapest's goalkeeper Márton Gervai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Virág, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When James Nicklin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Wollstonecraft Rockers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Nicklin couldn't finish the play. James Nicklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Márton Gervai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bálint Béres's late challenge caught a Wollstonecraft Rockers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bálint Béres helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vizsla Academy Budapest getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bálint Béres hit a great ball. James Nicklin scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márton Gervai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers James Nicklin in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márton Gervai saved Vizsla Academy Budapest from getting behind. Tibor Virág sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Maier struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Márton Gervai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wollstonecraft Rockers. When Tibor Virág came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vizsla Academy Budapest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Virág couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Wollstonecraft Rockers's zone, Tibor Virág stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Bedford came out of the goal and Tibor Virág tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dávid Balogh got free with Ian Bedford in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Nicklin made a kick off. A collision led to Wollstonecraft Rockers getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Scott Wheeler hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scott Wheeler during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vizsla Academy Budapest's Balázs Bakó got a free kick in the 72nd minute. John Randall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Márton Gervai made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Wollstonecraft Rockers's Scott Wheeler got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Paul Cleaver fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Andreas Maier in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Márton Gervai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 98th minute Tibor Virág shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Bedford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
