The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Filomeno Rayman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wangari Maathai Forest's David Ashton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spencer Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Horton in the 15th minute of play forced Shuriken Kunai AC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Rayman in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Honorio Marias short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got David Ashton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mark Horton scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spencer Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Wangari Maathai Forest got a freekick which was hit by Roy Smith. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Horton, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. David Ashton came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Shuriken Kunai AC's Filomeno Rayman. But to his dismay, Filomeno Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 42nd minute, Silverio Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Horton was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mark Horton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Shuriken Kunai AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Horton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Filomeno Rayman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Ashton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Primitivo Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shuriken Kunai AC and the Wangari Maathai Forest players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shuriken Kunai AC's Primitivo Hug got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Shuriken Kunai AC's Emiliano Martínez got control of the ball when Spencer Jenkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Rayman in the 64th minute of play. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Smith in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Shuriken Kunai AC defense, Mark Horton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Martínez. The Shuriken Kunai AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Martínez should have stopped the shot. When Mark Horton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emiliano Martínez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Shuriken Kunai AC's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Shuriken Kunai AC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Horton got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wangari Maathai Forest's Spencer Jenkins was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the Wangari Maathai Forest defense, Honorio Maria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Ashton. The Wangari Maathai Forest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Ashton should have stopped the shot. In the 91stth minute of the game Mark Horton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shuriken Kunai AC's Emiliano Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
