Philip Palmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dark Knight FC's Saul Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Rennie in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Rod Williamson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Gaur to strike the kick off in the second half. Rod Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Saul Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Knight FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Rennie kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, William Greig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Chinto came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Dark Knight FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Chinto. 73 minutes into the match, Dark Knight FC's goalkeeper Saul Llope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rod Williamson. Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Llope having to interfere. Rod Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Saul Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, William Rennie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dark Knight FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
