Wangari Maathai Forest's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when 김 간 scored to the left of an out of position David Ashton, making the score, 3-1. 해신당 공원's 김 갈 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Smith in the 34th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mark Horton made the kick off in the second half. 김 갈 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spencer Jenkins in the 55th minute of play. David Ashton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 간's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. David Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 간, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 해신당 공원's 김 간 in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by 이 장곡 in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wangari Maathai Forest's Roy Smith. 86 minutes into the match, Wangari Maathai Forest's goal looked a bit too open when 강 군 came free, but David Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spencer Jenkins in the 88th minute of play forced 해신당 공원's goalkeeper 김 갈 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 박 민 kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match 이 난 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Ashton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Wangari Maathai Forest players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
