Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rod Williamson started the match with the kick off. Philip Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Veronica in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cristóvão Rebelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Serrinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Rebelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Albert Shaw got a free kick in the 7th minute. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Barbosa in the 8th minute of play. With his leg Philip Palmer managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when SC Serrinho's Fidel Veronica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. SC Serrinho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zarco Severiano in the 15th minute. The supporters of Sojourner Truth Pioneers booed when SC Serrinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Serrinho's Fidel Veronica in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalie prevented a goal. Philip Palmer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Veronica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. If Cristóvão Rebelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gusmão Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Hermínio Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Palmer. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermínio Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Philip Palmer made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fidel Veronica sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, SC Serrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but Gusmão Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Serrinho's goalkeeper Gusmão Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sojourner Truth Pioneers's zone, Cristóvão Rebelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Palmer came out of the goal and Cristóvão Rebelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Valério hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Hermínio Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Timóteo Amaral made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Paul Arnold. Rod Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gusmão Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Fidel Veronica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 68th minute, Hermínio Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cristóvão Rebelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Palmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Barbosa in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, William Rennie took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Gusmão Dias to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Alfredo Laureano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Serrinho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
