Eriberto Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Dudea in the 16th minute of play. Benito Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Mitchell in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hylton Brookes in the 23rd minute of play forced El CUERVO perfeto's goalkeeper Benito Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, El CUERVO perfeto's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Mitchell came free, but Benito Oxarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Mitchell, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Margaret Atwood Impact's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jim Mitchell in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes Margaret Atwood Impact got a freekick which was hit by Richard Shaw. Benito Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hylton Brookes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Benito Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Dudea to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner Kyle Hay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Oxarra quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute, Vladimiro Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Jim Mitchell fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Benito Oxarra. If Michael Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, El CUERVO perfeto's goalkeeper Benito Oxarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Mitchell. In the 72nd minute, Filiberto Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Michael Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iulian Dudea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Margaret Atwood Impact getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Richard Shaw hit a great ball. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Dudea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El CUERVO perfeto's Benito Oxarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save El CUERVO perfeto from getting a goal against them. Benito Oxarra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jim Mitchell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 93 minute of play. The El CUERVO perfeto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
