Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jim Mitchell kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love got control of the ball when Cesar Maraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Michael Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Metin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Mitchell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Circus's Aziz Metin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Mitchell in the 10th minute of play. Michael Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Raphael hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Jim Mitchell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aziz Metin skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Hylton Brookes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Chris Randall kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Edgard Eduino came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Circus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Eduino couldn't finish the play. Christopher Love made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Maraman in the 21st minute. Aziz Metin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Mitchell in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Circus's Bernardino Argi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Love narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Gavino Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, FC Circus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Aziz Metin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hylton Brookes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Jim Mitchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aziz Metin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 42nd play minutes Michael Dalton shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Aziz Metin and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Margaret Atwood Impact were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jim Mitchell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aziz Metin having to interfere. Timothy Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aziz Metin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Mitchell made a great header on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner, it was just that FC Circus's Aziz Metin managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the game, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aziz Metin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 88th minute, Timothy Watson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aziz Metin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Margaret Atwood Impact could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Circus throughout the match.
