Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Margaret Atwood Impact from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in 해신당 공원's zone, Mathew Gunter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 김 갈 came out of the goal and Mathew Gunter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, 해신당 공원's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Mitchell came free, but 김 갈 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 김 간 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christopher Love made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, 해신당 공원's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Dalton came free, but 김 갈 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 김 갈 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 24 minutes, Michael Dalton made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. 해신당 공원's 김 갈 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christopher Love made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when 강 군 sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Mitchell in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 김 갈 saved 해신당 공원 from getting behind. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A long shot from 이 난 in the 43rd minute of play was well struck, but Christopher Love made a really good save at the right post. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when 해신당 공원 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. 박 민 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Dalton's late challenge caught a 해신당 공원's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Dalton helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Margaret Atwood Impact got a freekick which was hit by Michael Dalton.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 간 to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Mathew Gunter from a close distance when the talented 김 갈 managed to make a qualified save. 해신당 공원's players were relieved. 김 간 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 간 in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Love saved Margaret Atwood Impact from getting behind. 김 갈 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Mitchell in the 62nd minute. Michael Dalton hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that 김 간's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher Love was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Timothy Watson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 김 갈. That made the score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. Christopher Love showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 강 군, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 김 갈 came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell. But to his dismay, Jim Mitchell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Hylton Brookes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Jim Mitchell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 김 갈. 해신당 공원's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jim Mitchell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Richard Shaw kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 해신당 공원's 이 서문 got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jim Mitchell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 김 갈 firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, 해신당 공원's 김 갈 got control of the ball when Jim Mitchell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The 해신당 공원 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
