Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renaut Verhoeven started the match with the kick off. Richard Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Francis in the 6th minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Bob Worteleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vc Brye's Bob Worteleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Williams in the 10th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Raymond Williams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ada Lovelace Engines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When George Carrie fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ada Lovelace Engines's protests and gave George Carrie a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Anton Loremans from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Stephen Clough's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, George Carrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ada Lovelace Engines's supporters rose to their feet, but George Carrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Worteleers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Vc Brye's Thobias Lievens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stephen Clough. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. If Raymond Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Richard Francis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ada Lovelace Engines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Francis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Rudi Maerschalckx suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 55 minutes, David Hunt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ada Lovelace Engines and the Vc Brye players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vc Brye made a substitution. Jules Konings replaced Rudi Maerschalckx. Charles-Louis Van den Plas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ada Lovelace Engines's Richard Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles-Louis Van den Plas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles-Louis Van den Plas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Charles-Louis Van den Plas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Taylor during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vc Brye booed when Ada Lovelace Engines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Anton Loremans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stephen Clough skillfully saved the ball. In the 72nd minute, Richard Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Thobias Lievens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vc Brye booed when Ada Lovelace Engines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ada Lovelace Engines's Stephen Clough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thobias Lievens in the 78th minute of play. Bob Worteleers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Francis in the 81st minute of the match. Bob Worteleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Carrie in the 87th minute of play. Ada Lovelace Engines's Stephen Clough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaut Verhoeven in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Francis in the 96th minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Bob Worteleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ada Lovelace Engines walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
