Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, El CUERVO perfeto's Filiberto Gaitano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Jim Mitchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Oxarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The corner led Margaret Atwood Impact's Timothy Watson to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Oxarra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Margaret Atwood Impact's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jim Mitchell in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner Jim Mitchell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Oxarra quite easily take care of the ball. Benito Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hylton Brookes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love got control of the ball when Guaberto Otoniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Otoniel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christopher Love. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Octavio Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Christopher Love tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Guaberto Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El CUERVO perfeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Octavio Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Oxarra having to interfere. Benito Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Dalton in the 37th minute of play forced El CUERVO perfeto's goalkeeper Benito Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Michael Dalton made a precise shot to the right of Benito Oxarra. El CUERVO perfeto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 39th minute Jim Mitchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Otoniel got free with Christopher Love in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Octavio Rodriguez made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Dalton got free with Benito Oxarra in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 59 minutes, Hylton Brookes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hylton Brookes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 played minutes El CUERVO perfeto got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Dudea. After a defensive mix-up in El CUERVO perfeto's zone, Jim Mitchell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Oxarra came out of the goal and Jim Mitchell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Oxarra made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Michael Dalton sent off a good shot on target. Benito Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hylton Brookes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, Margaret Atwood Impact's Benito Oxarra threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michael Dalton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Dalton had several of the El CUERVO perfeto's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Benito Oxarra as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jim Mitchell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Benito Oxarra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Margaret Atwood Impact's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
