In the 4th match minute, Ada Lovelace Engines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Carrie to maneuver through the defense. Chacabuco Animals Return's Emiliano Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Florentino Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Claris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephen Clough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Chacabuco Animals Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Kepa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Williams in the 30th minute of play forced Chacabuco Animals Return's goalkeeper Florentino Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Carrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Chacabuco Animals Return's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Francis came free, but Florentino Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Richard Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chacabuco Animals Return getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luisito Kepa hit a great ball. Florentino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Francis in the 39th minute of the match. The corner led to Ada Lovelace Engines's David Hunt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Victorio Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Stephen Clough made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Claris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luisito Kepa charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Kepa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chacabuco Animals Return's Luisito Kepa got a free kick in the 51st minute. Richard Francis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Raymond Williams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ada Lovelace Engines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 69th minute, Prospero Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Francis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Cesario came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Francis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Castel during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chacabuco Animals Return's Emiliano Castel got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Claris in the 85th minute of play forced Ada Lovelace Engines's goalkeeper Stephen Clough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Castel scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stephen Clough, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephen Clough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorio Claris's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
