Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rod Williamson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute of the match, Gualter Pitta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philip Palmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gualter Pitta in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Palmer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Markus Pflüger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Williamson in the 11th minute of play. Paul Arnold's late challenge caught a Du Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Arnold helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by Paul Arnold. Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Williamson in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a corner. Du Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rod Williamson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leon Barys thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Markus Pflüger, a very annoying self made goal in the 19th minute which led to 0-1. André Luiz Travassos scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Palmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. William Rennie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, André Luiz Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Du Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rod Williamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, William Rennie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by Albert Shaw. The supporters of Sojourner Truth Pioneers booed when Du Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Du Esporte Clube's Edu Cavalcante was substituted for Jonathan da Cunha. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Travassos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Pitta in the 53rd minute of play forced Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sojourner Truth Pioneers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Peter Silvester hit a great ball. Markus Pflüger made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Rod Williamson sent off a good shot on target. After 65 played minutes Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gluck. Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Pflüger having to interfere. Gualter Pitta's late challenge caught a Sojourner Truth Pioneers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Pitta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Gualter Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Pflüger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rennie in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Rod Williamson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sojourner Truth Pioneers defense, Gualter Pitta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Palmer. The Sojourner Truth Pioneers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Palmer should have stopped the shot. Gualter Pitta struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Philip Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Du Esporte Clube. A collision led to Sojourner Truth Pioneers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Albert Shaw hit a great ball. André Luiz Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Philip Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Du Esporte Clube had won after a very even match.
