Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobías Gunnarsson started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, J.P. Kapar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SILMONT's Yves Michalon. Yves Michalon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobías Gunnarsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yves Michalon. That made the score 3-0 in the 12 minute of play. SILMONT's Yves Michalon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobías Gunnarsson in the 15th minute of play. Yves Michalon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Kapar in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, SILMONT's Yves Michalon got control of the ball when Tobías Gunnarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a left leg Yves Michalon saved SILMONT from getting behind. Yves Michalon came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 France's Tobías Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Tobías Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, U21 France's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Escudié came free, but Manuel Espagnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobías Gunnarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yves Michalon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobías Gunnarsson ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Marie Goupy made a kick off. SILMONT's Yves Michalon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobías Gunnarsson in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, U21 France's Manuel Espagnet got control of the ball when Jean-Marie Goupy tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobías Gunnarsson in the 54th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Yves Michalon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Tobías Gunnarsson made a precise shot to the right of Yves Michalon. SILMONT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. U21 France's J.P. Kapar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Tobías Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobías Gunnarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Kapar in the 75th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Yves Michalon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, J.P. Kapar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. U21 France's Florent Blanc was substituted for Ulysse Houssais. Yves Michalon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobías Gunnarsson in the 84th minute of play. After 86th play minutes Tobías Gunnarsson shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Yves Michalon and just under the crossbar into goal. SILMONT's Yves Michalon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobías Gunnarsson in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of U21 France booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathanaël Lize didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yves Michalon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Kapar in the 96th minute of the match.
