Jens-Erik Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Nicklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute of the match, Anton Söderström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ian Bedford was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 11 minutes into the match, DSK Dalir's goal looked a bit too open when James Nicklin came free, but Jens-Erik Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Wollstonecraft Rockers's John Randall to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens-Erik Forsberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford got control of the ball when Erik Linqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sven-Åke Vestlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Åke Vestlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ian Bedford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, DSK Dalir's goal looked a bit too open when James Nicklin came free, but Jens-Erik Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Pilberg made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wollstonecraft Rockers's Richard Saunders. James Nicklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Forsberg having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DSK Dalir's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Forsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by DSK Dalir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John Randall was slow to take the kick. During this time Wollstonecraft Rockers's players had a chance to rest. Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Wollstonecraft Rockers from getting a goal against them. Ian Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Sven-Åke Vestlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Bedford, 1-0. When Sven-Åke Vestlund came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the DSK Dalir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Vestlund couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Nicklin made a kick off. Mark Yuen kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes DSK Dalir got a freekick which was hit by Jim Sundström. When James Nicklin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Wollstonecraft Rockers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Nicklin couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Henrik Pilberg in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wollstonecraft Rockers's Paul Cleaver. Jim Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Wollstonecraft Rockers booed when DSK Dalir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, DSK Dalir's Jim Sundström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Bedford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sven-Åke Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. DSK Dalir's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Bedford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Wollstonecraft Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Grosse to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Anton Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. DSK Dalir's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Bedford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
