Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when 潘谦政 took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mathew Gunter took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Säyid Abdasov. Säyid Abdasov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Mübariz Abdurazakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Säyid Abdasov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kyle Hay kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when 潘谦政 came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Mitchell in the 18th minute of play forced XTQ FK's goalkeeper Säyid Abdasov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Jim Mitchell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Margaret Atwood Impact fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mathew Gunter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Margaret Atwood Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Randall to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saleh Näbiyev during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to XTQ FK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Saleh Näbiyev hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Jim Mitchell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Säyid Abdasov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Watson in the 29th minute of play forced XTQ FK's goalkeeper Säyid Abdasov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Säyid Abdasov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Säyid Abdasov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Mitchell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Searle kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saleh Näbiyev got free with Christopher Love in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute 潘谦政 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's goal looked a bit too open when 潘谦政 came free, but Christopher Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Margaret Atwood Impact's zone, 潘谦政 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Love came out of the goal and 潘谦政 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Säyid Abdasov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Säyid Abdasov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy Watson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Margaret Atwood Impact were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Mitchell to make the kick off. Timothy Watson might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Säyid Abdasov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timothy Watson ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Dalton struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Säyid Abdasov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margaret Atwood Impact. After 61 minutes XTQ FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jim Mitchell who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Chris Randall managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Säyid Abdasov was a little too slow when Michael Dalton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-4. After 67 minutes of play XTQ FK's Saleh Näbiyev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to XTQ FK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Saleh Näbiyev hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, XTQ FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hylton Brookes came free, but Säyid Abdasov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Mitchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Säyid Abdasov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jim Mitchell came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Margaret Atwood Impact fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Mitchell couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes XTQ FK got a freekick which was hit by Mülayim Adigözälov. Jim Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by XTQ FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Mitchell was slow to take the kick. During this time Margaret Atwood Impact's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner Chris Randall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Säyid Abdasov quite easily take care of the ball. Margaret Atwood Impact's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
