Club A Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Urtungo in the 13th minute. Club A Independiente's Raimundo Urtungo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Philip Palmer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Samuel Francis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Philip Palmer, 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Samuel Francis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Philip Palmer. Samuel Francis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Domingos Chuan got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Delmar Cordairo. After a defensive mix-up in Sojourner Truth Pioneers's zone, Samuel Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Palmer came out of the goal and Samuel Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Gluck hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Philip Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Francis in the 34th minute. Club A Independiente were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Sojourner Truth Pioneers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Urtungo took the corner. Albert Shaw struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aurelio Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sojourner Truth Pioneers. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Rennie during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Rennie to maneuver through the defense. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Francis in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Club A Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but Aurelio Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Palmer made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ruben Damario sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Philip Palmer made a huge save.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ruben Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the game, Samuel Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Philip Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Club A Independiente getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Clément Barton hit a great ball. The supporters of Sojourner Truth Pioneers booed when Club A Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Chuan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Delmar Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Francis's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Aurelio Darien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rod Williamson in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Club A Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clément Barton to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Rennie, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Club A Independiente's Samuel Francis in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Williamson couldn't finish the play. Club A Independiente's Samuel Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Shaw's late challenge caught a Club A Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Shaw helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute Samuel Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Rennie to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Samuel Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club A Independiente fully deserved thier win.
