Valentin Licerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute of the match Sportivo Ben Hur got a corner. Franja Dorada F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Primitivo Chaime ran over to the corner to take the kick. 98 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Jacob came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans cheered their team off the field, for while Franja Dorada F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
