Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Oduor started the match with the kick off. Charles Rop acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonatan Evis. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Ben Hur's Charles Rop threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gavino Fagondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 9 minutes, Ben Korir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annscroft and the Sportivo Ben Hur players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Ben Korir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sportivo Ben Hur's Gavino Vela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Charles Rop but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Fagondo in the 12th minute of play forced Annscroft's goalkeeper Charles Rop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Cristofor came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Annscroft's David Oduor. But to his dismay, David Oduor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marciano Maxin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Charles Rop made a huge save. The supporters of Annscroft booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Rop acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonatan Evis. In the 22nd minute David Oduor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Oduor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when David Oduor came free, but Abelardo Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Curtis Ocholla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kipchoge Wambua kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sportivo Ben Hur's Gavino Vela couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Annscroft. In the 41st minute Gavino Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Rop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Annscroft getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Robert Ongao hit a great ball. After the first half Annscroft were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Fagondo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Annscroft's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Fagondo came free, but Charles Rop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jimeno Lizbeth hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Evis to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Annscroft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Korir to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Gavino Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Rop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Ralondo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Curtis Ocholla came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Annscroft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curtis Ocholla couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute of the match Gavino Vela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Rop skillfully saved the ball. Jimeno Lizbeth took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Rop. Charles Rop dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, Annscroft's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Lizbeth came free, but Charles Rop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Gavino Fagondo made a precise shot to the right of Charles Rop. Annscroft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Marciano Maxin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Rop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Charles Rop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Ben Hur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
