Uriel Ruisko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Arano got free with Bonifacio Tonio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Escoipe's Cosme Arano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Tonio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match Romeo Maurino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Ruisko skillfully saved the ball. Cosme Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Tonio having to interfere. CIMARRONES de Mexicali's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CIMARRONES de Mexicali's Bonifacio Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Arano in the 55th minute of play. If Emilio Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Tonio having to interfere. A collision led to CIMARRONES de Mexicali getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Anselmo Chabier hit a great ball. Laureano Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Tonio having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Dionisio Gartzen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CIMARRONES de Mexicali and the Escoipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CIMARRONES de Mexicali! Bonifacio Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Dino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Albino Licerio scored 4-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Tonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Laureano Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escoipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Mariano Efren fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CIMARRONES de Mexicali's protests and gave Mariano Efren a yellow card for diving instead. Mariano Efren hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Escoipe fans cheered their team off the field, for while CIMARRONES de Mexicali had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
