The nice shot from Cosme Arano in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anacleto Montay had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Leoiar in the 12th minute of play forced Curramalán's goalkeeper Anacleto Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Curramalán's Erasmo Bertin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Casimiro Dino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Anacleto Montay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Escoipe's Cosme Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Ruisko having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Curramalán got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Lekubegi. After 36 minutes, Jorge Uxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curramalán and the Escoipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jacinto Barto thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Anacleto Montay, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-1. Casimiro Dino's late challenge caught a Curramalán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Dino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Escoipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Dino to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Montay came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Escoipe's Cosme Arano. But to his dismay, Cosme Arano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Laureano Leoiar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Anacleto Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Curramalán's Anacleto Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Leoiar in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play Escoipe's Casimiro Dino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 66 played minutes Escoipe got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Dino. Erasmo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Ruisko having to interfere. Cosme Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Montay having to interfere. If Erasmo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Arano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anacleto Montay having to make a save. Saverio Chus hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Uriel Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Bertin in the 78th minute. Jorge Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Uriel Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curramalán's Anacleto Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Arano in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Escoipe's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Uxio came free, but Uriel Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Escoipe's Uriel Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Escoipe from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Erasmo Bertin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Jorge Uxio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uriel Ruisko, 2-2. Erasmo Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
