Terry Hooks kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Cobi Goodwin hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Reed Bateman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Dale, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Cherryvale getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Peter Ramos hit a great ball. Bob Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Powers, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Cherryvale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Rosas to maneuver through the defense. Tim Rosas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bob Langford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Powers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Tim Rosas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Billy Dale put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reed Bateman. In the 38thth minute of the game Jude Powers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dallas Cowboys's Bob Langford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carlo Raines fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cherryvale's protests and gave Carlo Raines a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cherryvale getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Carlo Raines hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jude Powers to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Langford having to make a save. After 55 minutes of play, Dallas Cowboys's Billy Dale made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reed Bateman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlo Raines hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tim Rosas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bob Langford made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Cherryvale's Randall Patel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Randall Patel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cherryvale protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Randall Patel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Randall Patel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Billy Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dallas Cowboys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Dale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Billy Dale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Reed Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reed Bateman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Dale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felipe Hatch came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Dallas Cowboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Hatch couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dallas Cowboys booed when Cherryvale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jude Powers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Dallas Cowboys's Billy Dale tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Reed Bateman came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dallas Cowboys's Dustin Connolly. But to his dismay, Dustin Connolly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cherryvale's zone, Billy Dale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reed Bateman came out of the goal and Billy Dale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, Dallas Cowboys's Dustin Connolly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reed Bateman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Cherryvale's Reed Bateman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Connolly in the 93rd minute of play.
