Travis Williamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jude Powers got free with Travis Williamson in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Travis Williamson made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Dean Novak sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Taylor Hudson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Powers in the 12th minute of play forced Bennington's goalkeeper Travis Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reed Bateman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Thurston, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Travis Williamson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Dean Novak sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cherryvale getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dean Novak hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Daryl Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes in the game, Daryl Rose fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Travis Williamson having to interfere. Travis Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Powers in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Cherryvale booed when Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Flaherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Travis Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Powers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Jude Powers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Travis Williamson, 2-0. Jude Powers charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jude Powers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jude Powers kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bennington's Giovanni Bingham got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jude Powers made the kick off in the second half. Travis Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Powers in the 53rd minute of play. Jude Powers took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Travis Williamson. Travis Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Powers in the 61st minute of play forced Bennington's goalkeeper Travis Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Dean Novak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cherryvale's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Novak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Travis Williamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Powers, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tim Rosas scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Travis Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bennington's Travis Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Rose in the 92nd minute of play.
