An unexpectedly hard shot by Mane Izcaray in the 9th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Rochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mane Izcaray in the 34th minute of the match. Nacional's Sergio Rochet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. Sergio Rochet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Juanes in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Fioravanti. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignazio Sandoval got free with Sergio Rochet in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pando CNdeF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nacional were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grabiel Escorcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Grabiel Escorcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cibran Velasquez made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Pando CNdeF's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Cibran Velasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
