Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Fabiano dos Santos kicked off to start the match. When Firminopolis's Eduardo de Amorim in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alta's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Carlos Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Lira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Fonseca in the 8th minute. Juvenal Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Alta's Juvenal Fonseca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fabiano Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Valdir do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Lira having to interfere. When Valdir do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Alta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir do Valle couldn't finish the play. If Valdir do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alta's Juvenal Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valdir do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fabiano Lira was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Luís Fabiano Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir do Valle in the 35th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Meirelles in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Elói Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firminopolis's Luís Fabiano Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Fonseca in the 56th minute of play. When Alta's Juvenal Fonseca in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Firminopolis's goalie prevented a goal. Valdir do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Lira having to make a save. Bebeto Mandrak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Firminopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir do Valle came free, but Luís Fabiano Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Zé Carlos Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir do Valle in the 75th minute of play forced Firminopolis's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir do Valle in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Juvenal Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Valdir do Valle put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Fabiano Lira. Luís Fabiano dos Santos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ronaldo Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Alta were the better team. Alta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
