The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Carvalho during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes CR Grêmio Selevasco got a freekick which was hit by César Carvalho. After 13 minutes of play, Minervinho's Felippe Mota made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagoberto Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breno Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Minervinho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Virgílio Abraão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Baltazar Quaresmas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Ulisses Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th match minute, CR Grêmio Selevasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Chaves in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, João Augusto Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulisses Fernandez. Minervinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Augusto Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CR Grêmio Selevasco's zone, Felippe Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Martins came out of the goal and Felippe Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CR Grêmio Selevasco's César Carvalho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Minervinho's Silas Linhares shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dagoberto Martins but with some difficulty. 61 minutes into the game, Azmi Şen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ulisses Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CR Grêmio Selevasco made a substitution. Téo Quaresma replaced João Augusto Gaspar. If Téo Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Manuel Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Baltazar Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. CR Grêmio Selevasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Minervinho getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Mesquita hit a great ball. If Baltazar Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Quaresma's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Luiz Fabiano Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ulisses Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Dedé Vasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CR Grêmio Selevasco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minervinho the free kick. After 80 played minutes CR Grêmio Selevasco got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Vasco. Téo Quaresma scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulisses Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelsinho Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The CR Grêmio Selevasco fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when CR Grêmio Selevasco's Téo Quaresma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
