Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Gerber might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Gerber ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the game, Ulisses Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ressaguinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOUD the free kick. Zeca Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ressaguinha FC's Hugo Massa got a free kick in the 30th minute. Carlos Augusto Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Cardozo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Jorginho Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ressaguinha FC's Carlos Augusto Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, LOUD's Zeca Massa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Augusto Berger. Carlos Augusto Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeca Massa made a kick off. LOUD's Kléber Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Trigo in the 52nd minute of play. João Francisco Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kléber Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Ressaguinha FC's Hugo Massa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 60 played minutes, LOUD's Gilberto Peixoto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Berger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LOUD reached it. Hugo Massa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Evandro de Andrade sped through Ressaguinha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Berger. After having played for 66 minutes, Evandro de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOUD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Francisco Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléber Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Francisco Trigo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléber Mota saved LOUD from getting behind. In the 86th minute João Francisco Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Gerber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Kléber Mota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kléber Mota was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leonardo Veiga. Carlos Fernando Luz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Murilo Botelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Augusto Berger. Ressaguinha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ressaguinha FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LOUD.
