Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 40) Kléber Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Zonta in the 7th minute of play. Evandro de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William de Lara having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ingleses do Rio vermelho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zeca Massa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kléber Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes, Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Chiquinho Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléber Mota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ingleses do Rio vermelho reached it. Kléber Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zeca Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Ciro Palmeira in the 28th minute really tested William de Lara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Ingleses do Rio vermelho's William de Lara got control of the ball when Jorginho Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evandro de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William de Lara having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Zeca Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zeca Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ingleses do Rio vermelho's zone, Zeca Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William de Lara came out of the goal and Zeca Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro de Andrade got free with William de Lara in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Ingleses do Rio vermelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Carioca to maneuver through the defense. William de Lara was a little too slow when Zeca Massa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Zonta was the one to do the kick off. Kléber Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Sarmento in the 58th minute. William de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Massa in the 60th minute of play. William de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evandro de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. William de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Evandro de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ingleses do Rio vermelho defense, Jorginho Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William de Lara. The Ingleses do Rio vermelho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William de Lara should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Zeca Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOUD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Zeca Massa struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. William de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOUD. William de Lara came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by LOUD's Zeca Massa. But to his dismay, Zeca Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. LOUD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
