Cássio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Narciso Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Potocsný, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Porto Sul Football's goalkeeper Narciso Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Mota. But to his dismay, Hélio Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 52nd minute, Pedrinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Potocsný in the 53rd minute of play forced Porto Sul Football's goalkeeper Narciso Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Porto Sul Football's Pedrinho Dias got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Miroslav Potocsný came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Jumentus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Potocsný couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Porto Sul Football getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Pedrinho Dias hit a great ball. Miguel de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jumentus's Luisão Mota was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Narciso Gerber in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 70 minutes into the game, Miroslav Potocsný cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Narciso Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cássio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Narciso Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 85 played minutes Jumentus got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Corrêa. 88 minutes into the game, Ismael Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porto Sul Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jumentus the free kick. In the 89th minute, one of Porto Sul Football:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Porto Sul Football.
