Valentim Castilho was slow to take the kick. During this time Eureka's players had a chance to rest. Eureka's Valentim Castilho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francesco Toldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Lobo in the 16th minute of the match. Salvador Sordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Quintino Lobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porto Sul Football's Francesco Toldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quintino Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eureka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
