Edvaldo Tande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Paraíba in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Almkvist got free with Edvaldo Tande in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande got control of the ball when Edson Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haroldo Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Tande came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Edvaldo Tande came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist. But to his dismay, Helge Almkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Helge Almkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Edvaldo Tande however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Mendes in the 21st minute of play forced Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Paulista came free, but Edvaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Barreto to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Zézinho Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Zézinho Paraíba took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Edvaldo Tande to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Almkvist got free with Edvaldo Tande in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by 陶烽晨. Zézinho Paraíba was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Palmeiras de Plantão's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 46 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helge Almkvist. In the 47th minute, Nestor Paulista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Almkvist came free, but Edvaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Palmeiras de Plantão's Zézinho Paraíba in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Helge Almkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Tande was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Socanelas FC's zone, Helge Almkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Tande came out of the goal and Helge Almkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Zézinho Paraíba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Helge Almkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Edvaldo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socanelas FC. Palmeiras de Plantão walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
