Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimeno Cesaro started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, La Tucura CP's goalkeeper Santo Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Barrionuevo. Mauricio Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Fe made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cristobal Barrionuevo sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Teodoro Beremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escarto FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Cristobal Barrionuevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Cesaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Lorenz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Domingo Mincho charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Mincho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingo Mincho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jimeno Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mauricio Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Tucura CP. Escarto FC's Mauricio Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Cesaro in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Escarto FC's zone, Pastor Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Lorenz came out of the goal and Pastor Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, one of Escarto FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mauricio Lorenz went to the wrong direction when Alfredo Quiroga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 45th minute, Jimeno Cesaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pastor Poz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the La Tucura CP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Poz couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Beremundo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Jimeno Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Tucura CP's Santo Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Beremundo in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to La Tucura CP getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Celestino Montae hit a great ball. Cristobal Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Santo Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Cesaro in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Tucura CP's Aquilino Naike got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Francho during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Higinio Francho hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Escarto FC's Mauricio Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Escarto FC from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, La Tucura CP's Jimeno Cesaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Lorenz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Cristobal Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Diego Honesto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La Tucura CP's Santo Fe. Santo Fe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Teodoro Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mauricio Lorenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Poz in the 95th minute. Escarto FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
