Saguión AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florida the free kick. Pablo Rameriz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Victor Lartaun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 14 in the game by Pablo Rameriz from a close distance when the talented Victor Lartaun managed to make a qualified save. Saguión AFC's players were relieved. In the 17th minute of the match, Pablo Rameriz sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Victor Lartaun showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Barbosa in the 18th minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Candido Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Victor Lartaun made a huge save. After having played for 21 minutes, Pablo Rameriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Rameriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Florida's Ciriaco Sasoin in the 27th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Victor Lartaun was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Saguión AFC through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Barbosa in the 31st minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Candido Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Socorro having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Jokin to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Ermano scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Socorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Victor Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Sasoin in the 52nd minute of the match. If Zacarias Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Fernandes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Angel Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Socorro having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Florida's Rolando Muc got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Angel Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Socorro came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 66th minute. Zacarias Ermano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Socorro having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. Victor Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ruperto Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Dalmai thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Victor Lartaun, a very annoying self made goal in the 92nd minute which led to 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Saguión AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
