Federico Preciosos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Domingos Rufio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Florida booed when E. de L.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Rufio having to interfere. Pablo Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Domingos Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Matias Sagrario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. de L.P. and the Florida players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matias Sagrario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Federico Precioso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Rufio having to make a save. Domingos Rufio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Saul Bela helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Serafin Gumaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Pablo Rameriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Rameriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingos Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. E. de L.P.'s Domingos Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Rameriz in the 64th minute of play. If Federico Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 80th minute, but Candido Socorro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Florida hanging dry this time. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Serafin Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. E. de L.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Rufio having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Jokin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. de L.P. the free kick. Leopoldo Jokin hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Florida fully deserved thier win.
