Alfredo Frutos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. 2 minutes into the game, one of MAKUNA MATATA 2:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. MAKUNA MATATA 2:s Rafael Dolcet showed great skill when he stopped Nemesio Micael:s penalty. Evaristo Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Donzel in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Patas Sucias getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nemesio Micael hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Patas Sucias's zone, Rigoberto Elixio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Eguzki came out of the goal and Rigoberto Elixio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Americo Donzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patas Sucias's Evaristo Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Ulises Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Patas Sucias's Rafael Dolcet threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonatan Hondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Pascual Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Patas Sucias defense, Americo Donzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Eguzki. The Patas Sucias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Eguzki should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Eguzki having to interfere. The supporters of Patas Sucias booed when MAKUNA MATATA 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Elixio in the 36th minute of play forced Patas Sucias's goalkeeper Evaristo Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Gartzi in the 40th minute. Leonel Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rafael Dolcet made a huge save. Joaquin Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Guifre to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Ulises Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Eguzki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Donzel in the 68th minute of play forced Patas Sucias's goalkeeper Evaristo Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Pascual Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAKUNA MATATA 2's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
