Nol IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swedish Yankees the free kick. A collision led to Nol IFK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bertil Jernberg hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Joachim Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ahlroht, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Christian Kaxe charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Kaxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Nol IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Kaxe to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bertil Jernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. David Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Björkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Björkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Arenstedt having to interfere. Martin Ahlroht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benjamin Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Swedish Yankees's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Björkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Swedish Yankees booed when Nol IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Moberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Bertil Jernberg made the kick off in the second half. Martin Ahlroht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Arenstedt having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Leo Nilsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nol IFK's Christian Kaxe quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bertil Jernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Jernberg in the 80th minute of play forced Swedish Yankees's goalkeeper David Björkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Swedish Yankees's David Björkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Jernberg in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Swedish Yankees getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Peter Björkman hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Martin Ahlroht made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Arenstedt. Nol IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There was no doubt that Nol IFK were the better team. Nol IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
