After 38 played minutes Nol IFK got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Jernberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Classon during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Nol IFK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Classon. Benjamin Arenstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finn Kemper's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Finn Kemper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nol IFK's Benjamin Arenstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Madrid's Finn Kemper in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nol IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finn Kemper to make the kick off. If Bertil Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Johnny Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Jernberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Benjamin Arenstedt managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Madrid's Finn Kemper fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 played minutes FC Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Albert Lidström. Bertil Jernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Johnny Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Bertil Jernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Bertil Jernberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Madrid's Johnny Westerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, FC Madrid's Avram Hrusca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Arenstedt. Benjamin Arenstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2.
