After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ola Refsdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oslo Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Refsdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Høiby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torvald Løvold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herman Høiby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Torvald Løvold struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Herman Høiby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oslo Patriots. After 36 minutes, Torvald Løvold made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maurafolket BK's Herman Høiby tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodor Omdal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Herman Høiby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oslo Patriots. Eivind Wangen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Herman Høiby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torvald Løvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maurafolket BK's goalkeeper Herman Høiby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Valderhaug to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sturle Åkre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ola Refsdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Høiby came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Oslo Patriots's Torvald Løvold. But to his dismay, Torvald Løvold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 75th minute Ola Refsdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Høiby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Oslo Patriots's Fredrik Fredheim got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Oslo Patriots getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fredrik Fredheim hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Arild Gjerdingen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Theodor Omdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
