Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Skrellen Kings's Magne Tomter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ole-Kristian Svendsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Kristian Jessen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Odd Skålevik fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skrellen Kings's protests and gave Odd Skålevik a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Skrellen Kings got a freekick which was hit by Odd Skålevik. 8 minutes into the match, Åsane FK's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Myller came free, but David Fjellheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Geir Bjordal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kristian Jessen took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Borg. Björn Borg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kristian Jessen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Borg having to interfere. Björn Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir Bjordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Skrellen Kings's Ole-Kristian Svendsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Fjellheim. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. David Fjellheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Tomter in the 21st minute of the match. Björn Borg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristian Jessen went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Edvard Myller came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Fjellheim could save by the left post. Geir Bjordal struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Björn Borg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsane FK. In the 30th minute Fridtjof Bøen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Bjordal in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Åsane FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmund Aabø to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsane FK's goalkeeper David Fjellheim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Ole-Kristian Svendsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. David Fjellheim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Åsane FK's David Fjellheim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Åsane FK from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Åsane FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmund Aabø to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Åsane FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Asmund Aabø hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, William Tysnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skrellen Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but William Tysnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Fjellheim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Fjellheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Tomter in the 59th minute of play. Åsane FK's David Fjellheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Myller in the 61st minute of play. David Fjellheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole-Kristian Svendsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Odd Skålevik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridtjof Bøen might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Borg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fridtjof Bøen ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjørn Noreng kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. William Tysnes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Fjellheim. Åsane FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Fridtjof Bøen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Björn Borg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Åsane FK's Morten Sjåvik got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Skrellen Kings's Magne Tomter fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. David Fjellheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Myller in the 85th minute of play. Geir Bjordal struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Björn Borg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsane FK. 93 minutes into the match, Skrellen Kings's goalkeeper Björn Borg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristian Jessen. Magne Tomter's late challenge caught a Åsane FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magne Tomter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Åsane FK booed when Skrellen Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Tomter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gard Brandvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åsane FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
