Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Runar Helliesen made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Gjengstøen got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Bjerkan. In the 3rdth minute of the game Runar Helliesen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RotløsFotball IL's Preben Simonsen got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even Askeland's late challenge caught a RotløsFotball IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Even Askeland helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Gjengstøen got a freekick which was hit by Even Askeland. If Runar Helliesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Skogstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Helliesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Runar Helliesen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Skogstad. If Runar Helliesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Skogstad stood somewhat misplaced when Preben Simonsen came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. If Preben Simonsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Runar Helliesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Skogstad. Gjengstøen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Helliesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Preben Simonsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Skogstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Martin Skogstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Helliesen in the 35th minute of play. Runar Helliesen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. RotløsFotball IL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ole-Gunnar Forbord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Helliesen in the 44th minute of play. Preben Simonsen took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Skogstad. Martin Skogstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ole-Gunnar Forbord was the one to do the kick off. Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preben Simonsen in the 53rd minute of play. Martin Skogstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Kapstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Edgard Gausdal charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Gausdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RotløsFotball IL booed when Gjengstøen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Gausdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Preben Simonsen notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad. Martin Skogstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Helliesen in the 64th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Runar Helliesen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gjengstøen's Martin Skogstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Skogstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preben Simonsen in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Gjengstøen's goal looked a bit too open when Runar Helliesen came free, but Martin Skogstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind RotløsFotball IL's goalkeeper Per-Kristian Andvik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Runar Helliesen struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Martin Skogstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RotløsFotball IL. After 77 minutes, Anders Mjøen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gjengstøen and the RotløsFotball IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Anders Mjøen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Skogstad came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen. But to his dismay, Runar Helliesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Martin Skogstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Runar Helliesen in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Torjus Anfinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Preben Simonsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Martin Skogstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Skogstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preben Simonsen in the 89th minute of play. Runar Helliesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Martin Skogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RotløsFotball IL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
