YNWA's Rainer Hjortsig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Nelausen in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by YNWA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Long Dolby's corner Anthon Stilov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rainer Hjortsig quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Rainer Hjortsig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. YNWA's Rainer Hjortsig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Fogedby in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Long Dolby booed when YNWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toke Howalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rainer Hjortsig made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kurt Fogedby sent off a good shot on target. Thorlejf Arneskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorlejf Arneskov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Thorlejf Arneskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asger Nelth in the 31st minute of play forced YNWA's goalkeeper Rainer Hjortsig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Long Dolby's Asger Nelth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rainer Hjortsig. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Rainer Hjortsig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Fogedby, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Thorlejf Arneskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jimeno Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Long Dolby's Bernard Risdorf got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Knud Schneevoigt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Fogedby made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Golota got free with Jimeno Eate in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Long Dolby's goalkeeper Jimeno Eate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Gerdt Trettvik made a precise shot to the right of Rainer Hjortsig. YNWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 60 minutes, Knud Schneevoigt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Dolby and the YNWA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Long Dolby's Knud Schneevoigt got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jimeno Eate to make any attempt to save it. After 66 played minutes Long Dolby got a freekick which was hit by Knud Schneevoigt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Fogedby in the 68th minute of play forced YNWA's goalkeeper Rainer Hjortsig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainer Hjortsig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Nelausen in the 70th minute of play. Thorlejf Arneskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorlejf Arneskov ran back to his position shaking his head. Knud Schneevoigt kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Long Dolby's zone, Tomasz Golota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Eate came out of the goal and Tomasz Golota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. YNWA's Bernhardt Mannsmeier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernard Risdorf in the 84 minute of the game. YNWA's Rainer Hjortsig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Bjarnov in the 87th minute of play. Long Dolby's Jimeno Eate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Long Dolby from getting a goal against them. Tomasz Golota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertel Bjerrestrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Eate having to interfere. Long Dolby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
