Spectators: 8588 (Terracing: 6440, Seating: 1976, VIP seats: 172) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vagnar Loddegaard started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Thorlejf Arneskov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herluf Foldspang. The goal made the score 1-0. Thorlejf Arneskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Herluf Foldspang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyvin Ledorf in the 8th minute of play forced YNWA's goalkeeper Peter Henvig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herluf Foldspang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eberhardt Ørsbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brådea AC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bent Jurant hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Brådea AC got a freekick which was hit by Sigurd Holstfeldt. In the 17th match minute, Brådea AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenney Bosen to maneuver through the defense. Herluf Foldspang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertel Bjerrestrand in the 18th minute. Eigil Kellner hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorlejf Arneskov got free with Herluf Foldspang in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herluf Foldspang made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Thorlejf Arneskov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of YNWA booed when Brådea AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bent Jurant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brådea AC's Herluf Foldspang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorlejf Arneskov in the 26th minute of play. If Thorlejf Arneskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herluf Foldspang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thorlejf Arneskov's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. YNWA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bertel Bjerrestrand in the 35th minute. Bertel Bjerrestrand made a great header on YNWA's corner, it was just that Brådea AC's Herluf Foldspang managed to reach the ball for a save. In the last second Herluf Foldspang throw himself and got hold of the ball when Thorlejf Arneskov in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Herluf Foldspang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorlejf Arneskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to YNWA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Theodor Mastrup hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thorlejf Arneskov made a kick off. Bent Jurant made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sigurd Holstfeldt. In the 52nd match minute, Brådea AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lavritz Lyngse to maneuver through the defense. Peter Henvig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigurd Holstfeldt in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhardt Ørsbo in the 66th minute of play forced Brådea AC's goalkeeper Herluf Foldspang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorlejf Arneskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herluf Foldspang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorlejf Arneskov ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernhardt Mannsmeier made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thorlejf Arneskov however managed to control. After having played for 81 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YNWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorlejf Arneskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Thorlejf Arneskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herluf Foldspang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brådea AC's Herluf Foldspang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, YNWA's Thorlejf Arneskov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herluf Foldspang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Thorlejf Arneskov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herluf Foldspang was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. YNWA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
