After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ulryk Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Piatek in the 40th minute of play forced Obersgegen's goalkeeper Horst Mörgenthaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignatius Kessen charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
