In the 3rd minute Erich Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Bach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liam Czerwinsky struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nils Bach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Erich Wolf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nils Bach was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Erich Wolf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erich Wolf really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Erich Wolf struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nils Bach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05. If Otmar Bamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Bügen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Bach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erich Wolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erich Wolf made a kick off. When Otmar Bamberg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Manchester of United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otmar Bamberg couldn't finish the play. Nils Bach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Czerwinsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Bach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erich Wolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stanislaw Bügen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nils Bach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Czerwinsky might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Bach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liam Czerwinsky ran back to his position shaking his head. Liam Czerwinsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Bach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Stanislaw Bügen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Otmar Bamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erich Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Bach having to interfere. Stanislaw Bügen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Klaudius Raubier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Birger Goll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Stanislaw Bügen hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manchester of United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05.
